I assume that you have a similar setup to mine. Correct me if I'm wrong:

X360 ---> Computer ---> Screamyx Modem

The easiest way is to bridge the two connections on your computer. Open up your network connections (right click on My Network Places and Properties) and select both connections (the one connecting to the 360, and the one connecting to the modem). Right click and choose Bridge Connections.

Automatic settings should be fine, I have no problems with it.
