I am from Turkey, and I am about to visit KL in 2 weeks. I had been there about 5 years ago for bussiness purposes and loved your country. And now I intend to visit for vacation with my family

I am also an Huawei Ascend Mate user, and I love my phablet. I would like to buy a couple of mate8 and upgrade my phone during my visit.

So please help me, will mate8 will be on shelves at that time, and how much will be the price for internetional version, do you have any idea?

And last of my boring questions, how can I reach the lowyat price lists on the internet.

You have been using mate8 a while, I need to ask something. I have been using the first ascend mate for 2 years now. And my gps is never worked right. It seemed always lost. When it found the location, it is merely true, precision was bad all that time.

So I need to ask, have you used your mate8 gps. How it is perception time and precision?

We have in Turkey %18 VAT + %25 Special consumption tax + %6 bandrole tax (if device has fm radio function) Just in case, many mobile phones fm radio functions blocked with software because of that.

Really? You've gotta be kidding. Such an excellent phone and still problematic camera.

I expected at least as good as half priced LG G4 camera.

I know it is not related to our topic but, I need your help.

I will visit KL on thursday, and buy a couple of mate8 during my vacation. During my vacation (6days) I need local gsm service for only data link. May be 1gb is enough.

Can you advice me about that. I need an economical solution for gsm datalink service.

Thank you very much KLlee. Im in KL now and enjoy my umobile data package at reasonable price.

My old mate 6.1 could not work because of lack of apn settings, but my new mate 8 handle it easily.

I thank also Mr. Jian from Huawei at the Lowyat plaza for helping to get my mate8.

I have used my phone all day, and it is a great experience. I love it.

Yes, but drop both of them once, and see the difference
Mate8 (and also it's predecessors) has exceptional built quality. I have used ascend mate6.1 for 2 years always in the trousers back pocket, dropped may be 50 times, but it is still rock solid.

We all paid a reasonable money for mate8 and still we cannot get an OTA. Is that bother you? Why we are trying to upload new softares with unlock bootloader lock and ruin the warranty. B170 sw released but we are still on B103.

So, I have wrote a complaint email to huawei about OTA latency like that:

Please spare 10 minutes to write a complaint letter (or email) to huawei support department

Mr. Benny, how can I load B170 without bootloader and within warranty.

Still raising voice shakes some leaves I think.

Exiting. I wanna try immediately. Where can I reach that b170 version. Do you have a link Mr. Benny?

And my version now B103. May I directly update to b170?
