Today received my HuaWei Mate 8 (Mocha Gold) order from Lazada...
Order on 28/3/16 received 30/3/16.
My personal basic hands-on rating for this phone built is nearly awesome... Got chance to fight for Flagship of the year... I think should be worth it with this price...

Free ori flipcase... looks like quite ok quality case... good enough for me...
Free attached screen protector also... since using with flipcase so is enough...
Already save cost on basic protection... Satisfied...

Speaker volume is louder than Note 5 (using now)...
Finger print unlock damn fast...
Camera not yet test...
Others will update here after test...

Mate 8 indoor (low light) camera shooting still lose to Note 5 after compare...
If outdoor with enough brightness still ok...
Picture taken a bit more redish compare with Note 5 also...
Will update more here after test others functions...

I buy 2 units at the same time... Received yesterday....
1 unit received b170 update... another unit same as urs stated that this is the latest firmware B103...
Also dunno y ?

I will move back to Note 5 also...
Can't accept the camera during capture indoor while low light ... Too many noise ...

U try capture indoor while low light situation... just auto mode...
It's too weak ...
If u r from Note 5 user then u will know the different... I'm not Samsung fan boy... Just share my opinion...
Others function performance is not bad...

I think u misunderstanding "Low Light" ...
Switch off the light or left 1 light on... Then try again...

From my personal opinion :
Only camera is not powerful enough (especially low light)...
Other function still considered as quite good...
Different users different using style...
So choose base on ur favour...

As i mentioned few days ago... I bought 2 units Mate 8 at the same time...
1 for me 1 for my wife...
Mine received B170 update once i switch on my phone... So done update to B170...
My wife unit until now no received B170 update so until now she still using B130...
Then few days ago i found my unit camera taking picture no so nice...
My wife that unit camera performance is good...
So today i do a comparison with this 2 Mate 8...

Top : Mine
Bottom : My wife unit

Can anyone can help me judge is there my Mate 8 camera looks like a bit pink tinted during take picture?
I will send to claim warranty if it's really pink tinted camera problem...
