uncle benny, how much do u reckon the Mate 8 will be priced locally once it reaches here?

but funny thing, in vmall china, Mate 8 is retailed cheaper than Mate S. weird.

since, my friend is in guangzhou now, i am contemplating if i should wait or not, coz if based on huawei online site, Mate 8 is suppose to be cheaper than Mate S. hmmmmm.

and RMB3699 is about RM2.5k+ only.

yes, Mate 8 4gb/64gb is retailed at RMB3699. my fren ask street price is around RMB3600. so its about RM2.5k direct conversion. Mate S is retailed RM2698 here and its retailed at RMB4199 in china and direct conversion is around RM2.7k+.

it is priced lower than Mate S in china. take a look.

Yea. Will ask fren to get the NXT-AL10 since it has the widest bands coverage including our fdd-lte band 3 and 7. But based on your experience, huawei china unit has more frequent firmware update than international unit right?

But goodluck lah, since i had bad experience with valuebasket in buying my smartwatch previously.

Lol. Bloatware is easy to remove after root device.

I waited for the item like for 3 weeks after delay after delay thru emails. 1st they said item is delayed due to shipping and a few other excuses. At the end only tell me no stock and offer me refund. Lol

i somehow have to agree with you after playing with my Mate 8 for a few days. its awesome on the lcd, one of the best lcd in the market if not the ultimate screen. still trying to get use to the phone coming from Samsungs. lol.

now only i know this song is meant for Huawei Mate 8 marketing and launching in china. wow. been hearing in radio lately but didnt know. awesome song.

not good in doing review like you do mah, uncle benny. lol.

anyway, had the phone for like 2-3weeks. been busy during this time because my wife just delivered her 1st baby. however, the mate8 phone build is as great as other Huawei flagships. it is snappy without lag. i had some minor issue with whatsapp though, broken whatsapp notification on older firmware, but i had OTA update to B156 firmware and all are fixed. quite a lot built in customisation even without root. i like the part how u can manage your apps wakelock during off screen time to save your battery consumption, or is this a new feature in mashmallow? battery life is pretty good for a person who came from Note4. Camera wise, its pretty sharp, although i do notice the AF speed is a bit behind Note4, but can be accepted by me since i have my mirrorless and dslr for serious photography tasks.
