This Mate 8 has the best battery life amongst all the Androids I had used. It is even better than Mate 7. On my usage , average 9-10 hours SOT is common.
My usage on mainly LTE, 80% internet based stuffs ( browse, facebook, mail, tweeter, newsfeed, whatsapp), youtubes, some audio and video files but with no gaming
Its battery capacity is only 23-33% bigger than my other Nexus 6P, V10 but its battery usage is close to double them. Best of all the phone remains cool even under continuous intensive usage up to 2+ hours

Do you realized that the colour actually bronze rather than brown? Although in the website it is stated mocha brown, but on the box it is labeled mocha gold. I wonder if mocha gold is another official colour and we are not getting the true mocha brown colour.

Placed and order for a Mate 8 + a Nilkin case on 11th March from Gemfive
Gemfive website stated that the product will be sent out by 14th March
Received Nilkin casing on 15th but no words about the arrival of the Mate 8
Make a phone call to Gemfive customer service (03-27141700) on the 15th and was told that will be informed once they receive any news from the merchant
No calls or emails from Gemfive thereafter
Call Gemfive customer service again this morning and was told the exact same thing again by the same guy with creepy sound (like he got some super nasty insomnia and never slept for 500 years)
sigh....

Gemfive's customer service is kinda lembab.
Few days ago I sent them an email asking about sumthing, I just got the reply this morning. Duh...
