Only camera is not powerful enough (especially low light)...
Other function still considered as quite good...
Different users different using style...
So choose base on ur favour...

Samsung thread there are few ppl reporting lag and auto reboot issues as well..

It's all depends on personal preference and experience.. this is advantage of being a consumer, we have a freedom to choose whichever phone and brand we want, and we think suit us the most (those who have been brainwashed by certain brain is different story).

And the regrets are either the size or the camera.

Hardware wise, Mate 8 is still a beast.

As u can, Note 5 takes brighter pic in low light.

But the Mate 8 pic is closer to real life. The pic reflect what i actually see in real life. There is no light at the place i stand, hence it is not as bright as what is shown in Note 5's pic.

Note 5's pic may have lower noise level than Mate 8's. However, this can be improved by using the manual mode:



But s7e with bigger aperture should take even better pic than Note 5.

im running single sim..mostly on facebook,whatsapp,wechat,phone calls,emails and Download HK drama,watch 1hour drama & game on the phone..same likes urs can stand for 9hours and my battery life is 90% from 10am to 10% 11pm..
if im using note5 i do need charge double or triple of it already by doing the same thing..

If u like note 5 camera and amoled I would advise u to stay on note 5.

Just play the phone. The build quality is damn solid and nice! Performance is extremely smooth! For the price of RM 2,099 for 32GB, 3 GB RAM and RM 2,399 for 64GB, 4 GB is a great price for such quality build phone.

1st impression I really like it! and finally Huawei remove the top black shadow effect at main home screen.

Ya, HW is not that famous, I believe some day it will be a famous brand.
I am using S7 Edge but I love to test phone. I test at shop, I didn't own it.

A real worth to buy.

My first impression on mate 8. I got the champagne gold  colour because the mocha Brown is not available from the Huawei shop that I went  to.  I was attracted to gold once I hold the phone. The build quality is just excellent. The SOT after first charge was about 8 hours.  Usage include  YouTube videos, messaging and video call. I would say I'm very impressed with the battery life.  More than double from my old Note 3.

Overall I'm quite satisfied with every aspect of the phone. I think Huawei really know what consumers want. Great phone design, excellent battery life and great performance. The camera is good enough for me.  Probably I came from note 3 which I think is a huge upgrade. Everything is running buttery smooth

The few downside is the UI and the keyboard. I've replaced it with nova launcher and SwiftKey. The screen quality is nice with more natural colour compared to AMOLED. But I notice that the screen is not as sensitive as my note 3.  Sometimes I can just scroll with my finger nail tip on my note 3 but not so on mate 8 despite I already on the glove mode.  Don't really think this an issue, just need some time to get used to.
