i am so tempted to sell my samsung galaxy s7 edge for this Mate 8...

Not a fan, and the edge screen really, bought it coz of the 1000 pre-order for the great deal..haha, but still it is a great phone. Hence i am a bit worried i will regret selling it and get a Mate 8. Doing some googling and youtube-ing about this Mate 8 now.. The only downsides compared to S7 edge i see from those review are the camera performance and lack of 4k video recording.

and i see from xda developers forum, many ppl having the notification issue, does this happen to our local set as well?

first time using dual sim phone as well. previously was using iphone and blackberry. love the big screen and huge battery of mate 8, but too bad that i cannot use 2 whatsapp, wechat and line. have to inform everyone about it so that they wont text me at the wrong number.

I m Samsung Note 2,3,4 user in the past and is new to Huawei.

Saw DirectD sell Huawei Mate 8 at RM2399 for 64GB Rom and 4GB Ram, and its dual SIM.

Question:
1. Is this model a local Malaysia model? ( I heard if China model we may face problem such as Google Play etc if use in Malaysia).

2. If we put SDcard in SIM2, so cannot put 2nd simcard oledi is it?
yes. but you can mod to stick both sim2 and sd card together.can google more for that.

3. DATA usage is only for either 1 of the sim card only?
yes.

Currently I m using 2 phones (1 Note 3 with data usage personal line, and 1 nokia for voice call company line).

Pls help as i m new to Huawei and dual sim phone.
