Intend to do quartz countertop for my unit, the length for one of them measure up to 9.5ft, my lift at max is only 7.5ft. What other alternatives I have? Cut into half or opt for other material?

My level is at 20th floor, emergency staircase is very narrow and our cargo lift very small too. Cargo lift had 2 doors, when close my measurement max only 7.5 in length, height also limited at around 7-8ft.

if 1 or 2 storey high, yeah, hoist with rope if the access window is large enough

if high rise, no choice but to cut it

u can find colored fillers / jointer that is almost the same color

If can use emergency existing maybe is possible to carry up. Or use cargo lift if any. Carrying will be charged by floor. Like Piano, each floor is rm150, maybe counter top is cheaper.

Lifting with rope is impossible because staying at 20th floor. Will the joint looks obvious? What material can seal with no visible joint?

Can open up the ceiling panels of the lift? Most can.
Maybe consult with the person doing your countertop. I think they have encounter such situations before. Are you sure they can even carry or make a or have a piece that big 9.5ft ??? Another thing is if there are holes cut for sink and hob, it's very difficult to carry a long piece without breaking it. This is not a problem if your sink is top mounted but for undermount sink, it needs to be cut at the factory only nice. Anyway the person that comes to measure, do inform him of this difficulty, see what he says.

What is the brand?

Ur contractor should have measured and if found the lift unable to carry, they have to produce 2 units to be joined.
If indeed they screw up, ask them to cut it and rejoin, shouldnt any problem but u will see the joint line though.

Had a look at the lift, don't think can remove ceiling panel. Brand as in? No idea which brand of quartz, I'm getting Homemark to do my kitchen cabinet. We've yet to proceed, I'm just doing all the necessary planning before things screw up, had informed him about the lift. Will discuss with him next week.

Yet to finalize everything, I'm planning ahead then this lift issue crossed my mind. Already told my contractor, they will discuss with me.

Try measure your service lift diagonally. That means from one side top, drag your tape to the other side bottom. Maybe got enough space

Later I will take a pic of the join for you to see

Cut in alignment with underlying base cabinetry. The carcass must be in first. Then cut it in two parts such that one covers say two thirds or three quarter of the cabinetry. If there's a gap say for dishwasher or washing machine, that section should be part of the longer section.

I think this is the only solution. Miser developer gave tiny lift, no other choice. Yours is Quartz stone? nice looking top you have there.

Appreciate your suggestion, will discuss this with my carpenter or see if he can offer better solution.

7.5ft is length, I seriously doubt diagonal can squeeze in 9.5 ft either. Pathetic small lift.
