My redmi note 2 prime come with a modified China rom that already preloaded with Google play store. It is 66.33.77.00 version. This China rom is quite good except when using Bluetooth connection to my Bluetooth speaker , it got cracking sound. So , I decided to use miflash to flash the Hong Kong's global rom 7.0.7.0. After updated , the Bluetooth problem solved and the system run so much better except the Google play store problem as mentioned by many members here. A few days later it auto update 7.0.12.0 but play store problem still exist. Now thinking of flashing to the Global beta rom and see how. Anyone tried this rom before ? Does it had the Google play store problem as well ?

Just flashed to this ROM. Lets see how it goes

Cannot wait for them to start selling the extra battery kit, and battery because the phone at the present does not last a day with a single charge. Any ideas when they may release it?

It works, tested.

If phone bricked, use miflash, sure work. Also, flashed before. Just make sure battery above 50%, otherwise ur phone may appear KO when trying to boot up after flash. If KO, halfway, use miflash with wipe all function. Quite simple and straightforward. Don't blame me if brick urs.

Then ur set has the other type of MI recovery. I confirm 100% it doesn't work with the MI recovery on my device. Other users confirmed it too.

The only best way is to load the recovery.img via fastboot. I have done it and succeeded numerous of time.

How come there are GPS issues on RN3? Since RN2 and RN3 use the same chipset, is it phone design issues like antennae etc?
