Fark lah... me unwrap oredi. But I think I can still give them back because I checked with xiaomi m'sia & confirmed IMEI not theirs.

I'm going to lodge a complaint with service.my@xiaomi.com with the screenshot of Lazada's prod page. gonna cc to the farkers too!  Everybody should do that!

Since they got it from ECS Astar Sdn Bhd, we should also get lazada to get the M'sian sets from ECS as replacements.

How about that?? If we all gang up together maybe can pull it off!

I haven't called up Xiaomi MY to confirm but I'm expecting the same reply from them. Busy now. Call them up later.

Called up. According to SC, this is orginal Xiaomi set BUT, it is not local Malaysia set but China. Xiaomi MY doesn't cover global warranty. LOL ~

Is it an isolated case? How many contacted mi malaysia and dont covered by their warranty?
*
Contacted. Genuine Xiaomi set but doesn't cover by Xiaomi Malaysia since it's not MY set. They don't cover global warranty.

QUOTE(okuribito @ Dec 3 2015, 05:14 PM)
Guys, so disappointed leh....

But let's keep our cool & gang up. The more there are of us, the better chance of not being screwed over by lazada... eg returns charges and other bullshit

I see 4 possibilities...

1) keep the phone & live with it... we still need to ask Lazada who to send phone to for warranty claims

2) return the phone for full refund on same terms ie if we CoD, they shud also give us refund on CoD. Also, reinstate our discount voucher eg those who used 15Line should be able to use in future (suggested by nuke13

3) ask for replacement Xiaomi warranty sets. They sourced the phone from ecs astar sdn bhd which is an authorised distributor for Xiaomi M'sia. They should be able to get us local warranty sets if Lazada pays for it (their error maaaa....) And Lazada will only do it if we are big enuff in numbers to embarrass them for false advertising

4) ask for 2 year warranty. If you all notice, it's common for Imported sets

Who wants to gang up? Add ur name to list & state ur preferrence (1, 2, 3 or 4)
1. okuribito (3)
2. nuke13 (2 ??)
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.

I'm in. But need to hear from Lazada first before deciding which to choose.

I haven't got chance to chat with MI CS online yet. So, Lazada set is covered by MI Malaysia warranty, right? If yes, I'm going to unwrap my RN2 immediately. Hands itchy. LOL~

OK, called them up. Not sure if the CS really know nothing or pretending not knowing that many are having the same issue. I've told him nicely that this is not an isolated case but the whole bunch of ppl bought from them are having the same warranty issue with Xiaomi Malaysia.

Lol, definitely not whole bunch, I can see some of our lucky stars in this forum,  their RN2 from lazada are fulfilled with Mi Malaysia warranty.

They won't make any move if you told them only 2 - 3 of us. LOL~

OMG ... Guys, I've just talked to another CS, Leen / Leena (forgotten). LOL ~

This morning, the guy CS told me that my set wasn't covered but Leen / Leena has confirmed that it's in fact covered. LOL ~

And, she even attached the prove (screenshot) for me. tongue.gif

Guy, try your luck again. Load (and reload) until you get her and not the guy CS to check your warranty status. tongue.gif

Here you go.

The first try, I purposely gave her another IMEI, which is not found in the system.

Good luck rclxms.gif

Thanks bro. Noticed there's a "Created Time" - IMEI record created imho And it says 16:33hrs on Thursday 3/12/15

That means someone has to key in some details. Is this the first time you check your IMEI with them?

Wonder if Leena went to check another screen??? And the first CS did not? Can you try one more time and ask pls? Explain to the fella that the first CS said china but leena said Msia & tell the fella u have a screenshot

Since the record was created on 3/12, they can't be tellling us diff things! Unless they check the wrong screen
*
No, sorry. I'm not going to try again since I've on hand with prove already. LOL ~

NVM ~ try again. Look for Leen. Check @omgf thread above for CS photo. The same CS I chat to, just now. tongue.gif
