any tips if i wanna buy mi note 2 in physical shop? how to check if it is original ? phone imei match phone box no right?

Order one dark grey Mi note yesterday afternoon, got it in the morning @10 am.. Xiaomi Malaysia really efficient..

Any tips on how to save battery.. Only managed to get 2 and half hour. ur most of the time using WiFi with half brightness.. Already turn off location, using 3g preferred network, dual sim

Can tell me how do u root ur note 2? I have gooogled around how to root but can't flash twrp using updater apps.. when it reboot it says that update package invalid

I have done basically everything I know to save battery life. Location, sync, brightness..failed . Just read previous post, need to root and down clock the cpu speed to 1.4..

Yes. I have checked that.. When I want to flash via updater app, after choosing update.zip (twrp) suddenly it boots up..no flash option..and in my recovery can't choose the update.zip

hmm..already press on + volume up button..but the recovery still MI recovery..something wrong with my TWRP installation?

yup..using fastboot..in windows command,stated installation finished..yet cant boot into TWRP

Done that..still it reboot into mi recovery.. Arghh..spent 5 hour just for rooting..and get nothing...as i remember, rooting mi pad much easier than this..so much hassle.maybe need to try ro root using different pc

OMGGGGGG .thank youuu for ur tipsss..after it said flash finished just straight awayoff the phone and reboot volume up plus power button ..i forgot that step..after so many years rooting using root tool kit ,so noob using windows command

Yeah.. Finally.. Wasted almost 5 hour just rooting.. Hopefully it is gonna be worth it.. Especially battery life.i wanna get 5 hour sot.. Yup.. Using windows command. No other way to root it

Downclock the processor to 1.2Ghz...still.i feel no improvement in battery life.3 hour SOT from 80 percent to 0..Do i need to install custom kernel?
