Sounds like display problem. Try reset it, still same....have to send for rma.

Bro, this phone comes with 8 cores @64bit cpu leh...sure will heat up. If no heat up then it should be dual core/single core phone.
All quad and octa core smart phones sure will heat up. Important is.....will it lag when heating up??? If no lag....then keep using it. Dont worry, it wont explode unless it is extreme hot then other story edi.

Not recomended to charge a phone in a pouch or in a bag or what so ever. Got incident before.....kaboooom. Next time better dont do that. Risky.
For me powerbank is for emergency use....i use extra battery with no hassle. Replace the fully charged battery.....done. Less than a minute and safer.

1 more advise for all member here ......if u find out your phone is extreme hot, try use shortest time to pull the battery out. I mean....no need to turn off....just remove the back case and straight pull the battery out and leave it on a safe place.
Thats why i wont buy a non removable battery phone

Did u set backup on google when first use the phone? I just format my RN2 yesterday cause i m going to sell off my K3 Note [wanna move my save games and some important apps from K3Note to RN2] and use back the same google account and i found that my contact appear on my phone contact automaticaly, i tot wanna do it manualy but already done automaticaly when i login to google account.
It is also important to save your backup contact, pictures, etc on external SDcard. This is why i choose phone which support extSDcard. In case of phone breakdown or etc.....important data still on my SDcard.

There is nothing wrong to those who get 3-4 hours SOT, mine RN2 get 3-3.5 hours SOT only. Satisfied....cause i use this RN2 for gaming.

It depends on how u use the phone and screen brightness also important. Mine 50% brightness and on heavy gaming.......very good compare with other phones.
Some people light use the phone for surfing net, whatsapp etc sure can get higher SOT on lower screen brightness.

Different people use different style. Cannot compare same phone battery SOT with other people. Only u can compare is compare it with your previous phone. Hope u all understand what i meant.

Agreed but for me.....SOT not much different compare with my previous Redmi Note 3G, just slightly improve but better than nothing. At least RN2 is running with 2.0 Octa core 64bit cpu

Yes, it can but have to install 3rd party apps to do so. Not like branded phone like Nokia, Samsung, etc.....it comes with video call originaly. Most of the China phone dont have.

Agreed. Just install 3rd party apps will do. 3G video call apps also available on playstore if he really want to waste his money. It works like normal video call phone.

Yup, i m using it right now on my RN2. I use this 64gb memory card since Redmi Note 3G till Redmi Note 2. It work perfectly.

Do it b4 but not on RN2, on another phone.

U bought from which seller? I bought 1 set from aliexpress too......quality not as good as original but acceptable. Can use and also can charged. The charger also can charged my RN2 original battery with no issue. Only is the charger need bout 4-5 hours to fully charged.
Try run the battery for a few cycle......oem battery is like that. Need to run for a few cycle.
