Brightness, color reproduction, viewing angle, response time, contrast, battery consumption, all are different. For IPS, there are different grade of IPS that affect any specified viewing angle and screen contrast too. So, LCD screen labelled as IPS actually are not made equal. The only thing that made equal effect is, 1080p screen virtually guarantee no pixelate effect up to 7" screen with at least 323 ppi. Any screen that is over 300 ppi is actually sharp enough for people's eye, unless need used as virtual reality. |
