Bro, this phone comes with 8 cores @64bit cpu leh...sure will heat up. If no heat up then it should be dual core/single core phone.
All quad and octa core smart phones sure will heat up. Important is.....will it lag when heating up??? If no lag....then keep using it. Dont worry, it wont explode unless it is extreme hot then other story edi.

Not recomended to charge a phone in a pouch or in a bag or what so ever. Got incident before.....kaboooom. Next time better dont do that. Risky.
For me powerbank is for emergency use....i use extra battery with no hassle. Replace the fully charged battery.....done. Less than a minute and safer.

I forgot how to flash to TWRP then to international rom.

1. rename twrp.zip to update.zip and then use updater > choose update package
2. Phone restarted into Mi Recovery 2.0.01 and then wipe all data?
3. Download latest rom and put in SD card and then install from?

If u got ur phone from Gemfive, which stated 小米Malaysia warranty or local manufacturer warranty,  that's REAL xiaomi  msia warranty.  If stated imported,  not warranty by xiaomi  Malaysia.

If u got it from Lazada msia,  make sure get it from 'sold and fulfilled by lazada', then it's Xiaomi msia warranty.  Pls guy,  don't keep asking already.

im under stable rom, is there anyway to root without pc ? my co. pc is locked and cant perform any .exe installation .

This is the cheapest phone with Mediatek Helio X10 processor,  with PowerVR G6200 Graphic chip.

Some has higher clock rate variant.
But at this price,  this Redmi Note 2 seems is the best deal,  almost half price, with Micro SD slot,  dual dedicated sim,  4G, removable battery,  Full HD screen.

Real life performance wise,  it is just a bit slower than the Snapdragon 800 powered device. (not 801, not 805)
For me,  this is the much better phone than Xiaomi Mi4i, Meizu M2 Note and Lenovo A7000 Plus. Closest clone to this phone is Lenovo A7000 Plus,  but I prefer Xiaomi more than Lenovo,  simply the Xiaomi feel more like a flagship device in term of overall hardware and software quality.
