WTA - can hedgehogs be kept in temperatures colder than 20C ? because i'm in Australia, and i still want a hedgehog ... it just seems odd to me that hedgehogs were introduced into New Zealand and have become a pest, i mean how do they thrive when it gets colder than freezing during winter?

ic ic ... prolly cannot keep hedgehogs in Melbourne la ... temperature can drop to below 10 degrees during winter night ... i don't think the heating pad will be enough for the prickly fatty

i will look out . there isnt too many resources about keeping hedgehogs in australia though. its like hedgies arent all that popular here.
