my MongMong having a heavy dandruff problems, any shampoo i can use for her?
*
Then you need to get her oatmeal shampoo already. Check whether she has mites problem. If not mites problem then should be dry skin problem.

emm.. do ren enjoys any fruits?
one more thing, hedgie can eats chicken rite (for the protein)? can i give him chicken meatball?
*
Nah.. Ren doesn't take others except his RC kibbles. Make me headache only. So i just add some multi-vit liquid into his water. Hope at least he gets other vitamin from the water.

KP,

I think most of the food for pets are no oil. So boiling is the only way. But i don't feed Ren chicken. He gets his protein from mealies. smile.gif

Look like never c before that Orijen cat food, is it can get in local here?
*
Yup. You can get orijen cat in local but the minimum size is 2.5kg which is too much for a hedgie. You can PM White Palace as he has orijen cat repack for hedgie.

Hehe i just want to learn like TUICO use hand hold the hedgehog, i can't do it biggrin.gif
*
Nah... Is easy to hold like this. When you pick your pokimon up, place your hand according to his quills style. Then you won't get poke. Once you know, very easy to hold him. Seldom get poke by then. Lol... Starting you might need to get use to his quills first la. laugh.gif

If without the wheel, pokimon has nothing to play. They love the wheel. For the sake of your hedgie, i think you would wash the wheel daily just to make your hedgie happy.

Er is it anything i need to aware when chosing shampoo for my Bo Chai? Besides Johnson & Johnson, still got other suggestion?
Last time i walk by just suddently smell the Shokubutsu quite nice, pure plants ingredient but is for washing hand ... biggrin.gif
*
Normally we suggest J&J Wheatgerm type. But you also can go get oatmeal shampoo which normally use for hedgie that has dry skin problem. You ca also buy dog shampoo but mild type or oatmeal type.

J&J as in johnson&johnson that we use when we were kids?  blink.gif  blink.gif
*
You can bath her but do it fast & use lukewarm water. If you have shower then it will be easier.
Yup. J&J is Johnson & Johnson which uses for babies. Better get the wheatgerm type. It would be better for hedgie's skin.

GreenNerdy,

Try to get the live ones. If you're afraid to catch it, use tweezer. I used to scare of mealies, but now i feel it's a lot better than holding earth worms. Lol...

so nice can play with him for long time...

mine i pick her up a while, she sure start poo poo on my hand - which i hate most  sad.gif  sad.gif  sad.gif

Hahaha... You can put them in the tofu fa container. Just make holes on the cover. They can't crawl out. Dump some vegie or kibbles for them to eat & they live long time.

ok thanks hao for the advise..
just hope they dont lose weight..lol

Try put them in a dark box while travelling. Darker place won't stress them too much. They feel better in darker place. You can try use shoe box to travel them back. Put some newspaper inside. But remember to make holes for air ventilation.

haha obviously i've been feeding her too much cat food and mealies!!! omg no wonder she grown so fat ><

my storage box is 75x40cm...

Added on September 28, 2007, 5:05 pm

mine also lower down his head and point up her quills...
and remain there until i have to forcefully pick the spiky ball up =.='''
*
Your storage box is ok. Mine is slightly bigger than yours (79 * 50cm) yet with wheel, hidebox & 2 bowls inside.

Try lure her with mealies. Lol.. When she erect her quills, use mealies or kibbles to lure her. I alway do that. laugh.gif

Hm i want to take my hedgys to the vet but my father is a bit stingy o_O;

*yes i know their cruel to animals -.-; but what to do ...

Is there a good hedgehog vet near Mutiara Damansara, Pj ?

To my understanding not all vets know anything at all about hedgys so not sure which to go to, and which offering good service at reasonable rates.

Many vets like to rip off on us caring animal lovers :[

Also i got 2 hedgehogs if i bring both hedgys is that gonna cost a very big bomb instead of just 1 ? Or not so much ?

And how will i go about transporting the hedgys ! I read some peoples hedgehogs get car sick o_O;
I feed my hedgehogs baby kitten food ( the good kind ), and also make sure they get their water bowls replaced regularly with tap water.
*
Bring it to Dr Yeoh at Tmn Megah. Put it in a shoe box. They feel more secure in dark place. Remember to put some bedding inside. There's no choice to care whether they get car sick if they have problem. Please do bring her to see vet asap. Try use cooked water. Tap water consists chlorine which is not good.
