btw, hankook v2 heard wet gripping not so good. You may try Kumho Ecsta PS31, good gripping but sidewall too soft, else it's great tyre otherwise.

I thought last time i saw Mudah new OEM headlamp only RM120-150/pc, might as well buy 2 pcs @ RM300 max...

btw, i respray the headlamp myself, RM6.90 for clear lacquer, lasted 2 years already. only polished twice in between. Now starting to yellowing a bit due to non-UV protective lacquer used. Can respray again but nowadays I'm lazy.

Actually the differences is very very minimal. I'm changing from 195/55/R15 to 185/60/R15 on my gen2. Same still bumpy but maybe whacking corner a bit slower response from feel.. maybe 0.01sec slower? Haha

Suppose it's ATF SP3, not the Dexron3. It has some differences in Friction Modifier between these 2.
I guess the Type 4 you mentioned is for Toyota T-IV? Definitely not worth to try, we dunno the long term side effect.
If the ATF is Universal Synthetic/Multi Vehicle type, with SP3 stated in compatibility table, then can try.

1 thing about gearbox and engine: if you use the not-compliant fluid/oil, it won't show instant bad effect, it's not like human showing instant diarrhea effect if ate bad food. things might be some effect after few years or several thousands of km. by the time your gearbox kaput, you also uncertain "if i use correct atf, will it lasts longer?" maybe it will lasts a few months more but eventually breakdown due to wear and tear, we can't tell...
of coz not to say pouring atf into engine and no trouble.

I don't have brand preference, like inferno said, just get genuine branded oil will do. Modern engine like persona are more forgiving on engine oil as long as genuine oil used and follow service interval.

I have used Castrol Magnatec 10W40, Shell HX7, now testing Bosch fully synthetic 5W30 less viscous oil to reduce fuel consumption. You can get cheaper oil such as Bosch from authorized Bosch dealer; TopValu from Aeon. These oil are API certified so at least the "minimum quality requirement" were fulfilled.

ya.. but if u join Gen2 facebook club, quite often can seen member's car clocking 450-500k km mileage. usually they no intend to post mileage but posted the meter cluster photo asking for help coz of engine malfunction light or overheating.. gen2 launched 2004 so the guess those cars only 14 years old max.

You bought a lemon? how come so many problem? gen2/persona should be reliable and less problem at relative low mileage.

what brand of brake pad you using now? I'm using the mintye proton original on rear it gives the same wong wong sound when reverse after some rain.
previously it came with bosch proton original, no sound but the brake dust is very massive, every 3 days my rim colored black.
