for the case, the only way for good cable management is to drill holes...other than that, i dun see any other reason how to fix it...

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 7 2006, 02:48 PM) Eh... V1000 different lar... there's a lot more space especially width. A LOT more open. well, i guess they see the potential cable tidyness, that is why they didnt bundle a sidepanel with the case... And that the 5" bay area is empty and with space on both sides of the area to hide cables. That's the beauty of lian li's...they have a lot more mod potential. P180 on the other hand has separate cages hence the wires cannot go through...especially that fan thingy between the lower HDD bay and the psu. The 5" bays width's pulak is all the way until the very edge of the side panel. Not to say cannot lar... but if really want to cantik cantik do the airflow and cable management then have to use minimal spec...no oversized heatsinks, no extra long VGA's or multi cards, remove one HDD rack, use only 1 ODD. Let's not even go to watercooling potential. |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 7 2006, 05:08 PM) Let's just put it this way... uncle sniper, your examples a lil harsh on those antec P180 users out there eh... The Ah Lian's like Connolly leather... there's just something something sexy about the feel, the touch, the smell, the whole sex appeal. On the other hand... a steel, plastic, aluminum stick on is like PVC Looks like leather from far but it's just not the real deal. |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 7 2006, 05:22 PM) HAhahaha....we're just talking about a casing niah and it's just my own personal opinion which doesn't reflect on the opinion of lowyat.net or whoever in general. i totally understand what you mean....the cold brushed aluminium in contact with the skin.... Let's put it this way..I love my YCC casing. The interior is a dream..it's convenient....it's practical..excellant cooling.... it's everything except that it's got that plastic front (which imo looks alright) that doesn't have that Ooomph that you get with a Lian Li. When I had my old PC-6077...even when 8cm fans got outdated and the design began to look like crap but everytime I caress and feel it's smooth cold brushed aluminum body...it just feels "special". But that's just me this is going out of hand already...talking bout ah lian in antec territory...sure kena flame 1.. This post has been edited by sidewinderz: Dec 7 2006, 05:34 PM |
