some need to use jompay if you can't find majlis perbandaran selayang thru the normal 'payee > assessment'

check the cukai taksiran bill whether it states 'jompay'

mbpj = assessment , not quit rent

quit rent is land office.

for MBPJ if you have the account number + owner name (stated on the cukai taksiran) you can search here http://eps.mbpj.gov.my/query/Taksiran.aspx

if that's the case then the best bet would be going to MBPJ directly.

Wouldn't take long, and they will only give to owner
