What do you bicycle connoisseurs reckon on the Tern B7?

I'm looking for something under under 1.5k with a dependable frame for commuting.

From your experience and a design perspective, which brand of bicycle have much more robust hinge mechanism? Dahon or Tern.

And how likely can you find replacements for specialized wear and tear parts suck as the hinge lock and bearings?


On another note, does Tern or Dahon cover frame failure in their warranty in Malaysia?

Something that you can see under daylight and can handle a bashing would be nice.
