hi all, looking for a foldable bike for leisure use, preferably light so easy to keep and carry..

so far survey these two model from garion
GARION G2020-BC 20 Inch Foldable Bike with Disc Brake & 7 Speed
GARION G2419-BC 24˝ Folding Bike with 21 Speed Shimano Parts
which is suitable for me? male 175cm 65kg
or any other model? budget around rm500, thanks.
*
better you go to shop n try it, cos budget bikes are not light, some very mafan to fold.
so u better go shop to test first.

Also, my concerns I have for buying online is the after sales service. For example, am I able to do maintenance on my own? Do I need to buy any spare parts? as I haven't owned a bike before.
*
of cos u can DIY maintain, else just bring to a shop near your place to fix things.... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Hocm @ Jun 25 2016, 09:31 PM)
Hi guys. Used to be quite involved in riding road bikes about 10 years ago. Have not touched a bike since. Looking at getting a foldie now to tinker around and ride casually with the young family. Based in Australia currently. Cheapest value for money foldie I seem to be able to find is the dahon mu n360 at aud940 and the dahon jetstream p8 at Aud889. Any ideas on how these rate? Are these value for money buys or am I better off buying in Malaysia and bringing back to Aus? Open to suggestions?

Or should I save money and get one from here http://www.cellbikes.com.au/brands/Dahon-Folding-Bikes

Can anyone recommend a bottle holder that fits folding bikes... And what do I need to know about maintaining and riding such bikes.
any normal bottle holder can use already, all same the mounting bolt holes.

maintain bike, very easy, just keep it clean, put some lube one the moving parts ( not on seat post ya biggrin.gif )

if chain becomes very dirty ( after certain KM ) then u use degrease to clean n brush it, put lube again...

Thanks H2D.
What is "double front"?
Does it make the bike better?
*
double front chain ring..

abit more option for those who want more speed...

personally i like visc design compare to jawa design la... laugh.gif

but msia visc/global visc is not very nice the colour, oso neos rd, ...

very seldom see ppl sell used visc.

this one is the earlier model introduced here, the later one have internal cable...

latest one is called D18, and rrp @ more than 3.5k rm... gila punya...

so if can get used @ 1.5k consider ok lo....... biggrin.gif
