Well, I have just bought this Birdy!  It has the same Sram Dual drive 24 speed as the Speed TR.  It has full front and rear racks which will be handy.

It will be transported by road, and it is 4446 kms away at present!  Probably will take two weeks to get to me.

I'm looking through BBS and considering whether I should buy a:-

1. New 12-14" foldie 'cos it's light
2. Used Jap foldie (I wonder if they are light)
3. Use others (RM1000-2000+)
4. Brand New (RM1500-3000)

It's so hard to choose. I think weight is important but I'm afraid of small wheels. I might need to cycle more and it might tire me as compared to 20-24" tyres.

Thoughts? Is it worth it to spend so much for a used/brand new? What are your thoughts on the Jap ones?

I am looking for a cheap folding bike for family member, mostly for casual riding.
Budget is around RM500 and i came across a few like Oscar Imagine, TRS, Asogo, Garion, Mongoose, Trinx. Tho i kinda feel the Trinx maybe the better one of the lot.

Any advice which brands at this price range is better, tho most in this price range probably same quality wise.
Need some different views from you guys and experience with them.
