Hi.. Actually is not by bag. My mom wants to sell some of her branded handbag as it is a gift to her and she never use it before. Instead of keeping it in the box, I told her to sell it instead.

Is there any reliable shop where I can bring over and sell to them?

Before you want to sell, you should check whether it's authentic or not.

Once you cleared that up, then you can sell here for better pricing compared to all those crappy shop.

Many sellers here.

Just need to know how to sell.

You can offer COD at major branded boutiques, sure can sell.

Side note : If you're interested in selling, tell me what you have and I'll try to point you to some people that might want the item, providing the proof of purchase / authenticity are available tongue.gif

As I said, send me the photos of the bags with it's receipts/tags/boxes and etc and I'll get someone to get back to you, if they are interested.

What's the name of the bag anyways? It's printed on the tag.

Or just update her and reply my comment.

I'll ask around.

And no, even LV boutique in Malaysia once got caught in a scandal where one of the bag they sold were seized in France and confiscated by the airport staff tongue.gif

Side note : It cost around 12k-ish roughly in Malaysia once.

Don't expect 15k for it.

The original price is not even close to 5,6k USD FYI.

Can get cheaper in Paris if exchange are favorable.

Only thing that can get better resell value is some niche Hermes / Goyard and those you can't find easily in Malaysia tongue.gif

I got the selling price from LV web store directly ... So a better guide should be web store from France? I saw one of the website selling handbags showing the receipt of this bag purchase from Malaysia LV for 19k..

I guess I really have no talent in ladies handbags ...sad.gif

You forgot to minus out sales tax or VAT for us who are flying into France / US / UK and etc.

Some places like California / SF, sales tax around 5~8%. Same with VAT as well.

And some malls have tourist discounts ( EG : Bangkok and others ).

So with currency and some lucky, it's usually cheaper than the online pricing.

And plus, your bag does not come with any formal receipt from LV, doubt you can peddle it for almost full price.

Everyone can say it's a gift, but when there's no way to authenticate it + you're selling at full price, might as well check into StarHill Gallery, get VIP treatment and ask for a new bag, no?

Selling 2nd hand stuffs is usually at lost. Tell your mum to be grateful to offload it if she's not using it. Keeping something you don't use is a waste.

Good analysis and information... Never thought about these ..

my mom is grateful with it..but since the selling value is not high, she will give it to my younger sister... And she probably will be very happy
