Nokia N80 (11)
AFAIK, it does not check/validate your IMEI. It checks the firmware version.
e.g. my current firmware is version 5.0719.0.2 released on 24 May 2007 updated thru Nokia Software Updater.
RM-92 is the firmware for specific Nokia phone, i.e. N80. Other Nokia models will have different firmware.
(11) is the region code. 11 = Asia Pacific. If you bought AP set from Orange/Vodafone, the number will be something else, like
31/21 Orange UK
32 MobileOne
14 = HK
02 = NZ/Australia
etc.
Nokia Software updater will upgrade the firmware version and date only. It will retain the region code as per your h/p. If you want to modify the region code or update it from N80 to N80ie, it can be done, but that's another thread to hack it using Phoenix, Diego, NSS, etc.

to be more specific, the product code is the 8-digit code found on the sticker on the phone itself. that is used to determine your phone's product code aka region.
