FYI, wider tyres are more prone to aquaplaning.

I am wondering if the car has VSC, would it help in such conditions? such as hit a puddle of water and aquaplaned. Will VSC kick in?

1st rules of any new car, change tyre to Michellin PS3 or UHP tyre , Those energy tyre is crap wont grip at rain....

my friend alza using default tyre OEM la, accident twice...cos tyre no grip...within 1 year
After change to michellin PS3 now , now 3 year no accident at all......
Do you know energy tyre is for saving energy mean less grip.... change to the grippy tyre.

If he knew the tyres do not have sufficient grip, he shouldnt have driven that fast during rainy days.

Depends on the conditions, It is highly possible to recover with stability control, happened to me before. But without stability control, very low chance of recovery.

On the other hand, a friend manage to spin his car after hitting a puddle, even with stability control on.

Simple car wont be spun out of control like that, the steering will pull one side, you need to counter steer the other side to ensure the car go straight...

Is it very important don't brake or accelerate , Maintenance constant speed and glide over it..... Ooo yeah DON'T panic...cos when steering pull one side

You will feel like roller coaster ride in the heart....but....be calm and don't do anything in sudden , Even counter steer is just gently.....

I experience this many time, With Michellin PS3... i just go thru like it never been there... the streeing will still pull , but no more roller coaster feeling in the gut...is smooth

and i counter steer a little only

Stability Control system works when your tyre is losing grip.. hydroplane your tyre has lost 100% grip.. correct me if i'm wrong..

u want die? Seriously never brake when car already inside puddle. Brake to slow down before you enter puddle. If you brake when inside puddle still can if all 4 tires are inside but if even one of your tires is outside while others are inside rotation speed difference gonna spin your car 100%. So don't take chances

Applicable if you're using good wet tires like PS3 and XM2, Goodyear Eagle F1 etc
Normal ordinary tires like CC1/CC5, you'll experience like the Myvi.

Applicable if you're using good wet tires like PS3 and XM2, Goodyear Eagle F1 etc
Normal ordinary tires like CC1/CC5, you'll experience like the Myvi.

I thought this is common sense, dont brake if you hit puddle.

In the dry the D05 grip good or not? Im comparing it with the newly launched yoko AE50.. I need both good dry and wet grip, silence is a bonus

never try d05 and ae50. But i tried j5 definitely good grip on wet. D05 should be better. my next tire change want to try d05. Since these are cheap good tires worth a try.

Best done in-game. I would surely enjoy it if I do it this way in games.

VROOM! *drifts the NSX around the corner* Eurobeat is pretty suitable if you're about to play drift mode.
