I just bought Project CARS DLC on Tuesday and NFS Rivals on Wednesday. PBB debit was working for me, even with the transaction SMS.

Did you 12am transaction gone through? I bought something at 12am last month, I didnt get the transaction SMS on my phone but the order was paid with the debit card.

Maybe I have a reason to buy something now too. If PBB debit cant use, GG for me because I cant apply for credit card.

Ah, thats good. I am worried that PBB might block online purchase too.

I am sort of done with this sales, unless i want to get some cheap games that i used to play in the past.

Tell her that you enjoyed Bejeweled and you liked to try more games similar to it.

The Bejeweled part is actually quite fun for me, the rest not so much.

Nope, used mine for 3 years, it seems ok so far.

Better than Razor Onza by miles.

No, other brands are either even worse or more expensive.

Better just get a good desktop for 5k than waste 15k on a laptop.

Most 6-7k laptops should be quite good in games while 15k ones are not worth it. Desktop SLi already has it's own list of issues, mobile one is even worse. Not to mention, the heat dissipation that a lot of laptop manufacturers ignored.

Not worth it at all. The mobile GPU drivers for SLi isnt as good as the desktop ones which I wont recommend at all as a lot of the times, you might be only running single GPU in many newer games.

Sager or Illegear in Malaysia is a quite good brand so expect it to last quite long and easy to maintain too. The problem with the Clevo platform is, the fan is known to be quite loud compared to other brands. Laptops are difficult to maintain compared to desktop. Unless you are good in maintain your desktop, stay away from these expensive laptops.

The upgradable part is pretty much useless as mobile laptop components are extremely expensive where a new top end GPU can cost 3-4k because the supply is fairly low in the market and there isnt official stores to buy from. You have to buy from ebay from random sellers. Then, it is very likely that you need to do BIOS updates and possibly other modifications to use your new GPU. Not worth the effort and the money.

The weight of a gaming laptop will be easily 5kg with the adapter weighting another kg, you think you can carry this around? Most people I know gave up carrying it after a few months.

If you are going to use it in Starbucks, then, it is even not worth it because that is a waste of money. People buy this kind of laptops because they want to game a bit when they are traveling for work or they move around a lot. Not buying it to sit in cafe to play game or play in front of your friend. 15k is a lot of money, why waste it for largely useless purpose?

If I were you, I rather buy one with a single 980M and a decent i7 GPU from Asus, Gigabyte or Illegear for half the price. Use it for 5 years, like my previous G73JH then dump it for a new laptop after that if I still need one of these laptops.

Bought nothing from this sale, this shows Valve had successfully made the sale boring.

It is partly because nvidia is more proactive in supporting developers from early on, based on my experience with a game's development since 2011. While for AMD, they are slower in supporting the developer in various situation to the point the devs even sent them a lot of keys and data for their release day game ready driver, they didn't even replied their email regarding the game ready driver.

Then on release day, nvidia users generally has almost no issue while AMD users facing massive problems. now, I'm not surprised to see games running better on day 1 on nvidia than AMD.

It ain't just drivers and games as even their hardware division, they are half arsed company that prefer to blame other people than get their shit together.

Nvidia isn't perfect but I rather pick them than AMD because at least they are more competent.

If you are getting BF4, it is better to get Premium as a lot of servers are running premium content.

I got kicked out of the servers a lot because I didnt have premium.

Damn meh sales as usual.

Why should we forget about it? It is a serious security breach regardless it is caching issue or not but I dont think we should give Valve a free pass for that. They had been getting way too many free pass with many pointless features and initiatives, this security issue should not be overlooked in ways of their past failures. More importantly, they didnt even apologise for that caching issue.

A lot of their new ideas arent planned properly and mostly half arsed while they are barely developing games these days, Valve is resting on their laurels thinking that they will still get a lot of money without putting much effort in it. Heck, even this winter sale is boring which it is pretty surprising for me to find a major sale to be this dull.

I dont mind. 6 hours long for some great gameplay is better than 60 hours of chores with some occasional fun.

I think I'll definitely picking it up, considering there are some really good talents behind it.
