got some cash from bonus & tax return to burn end of this month. So planning to get Fenix PD35 & diffuser to turn it into camping lantern. Also some rechargeable 18650s as spare as I go camping quite frequently.

why not just buy a proper lantern?
and then some other proper light with a decent moonlight mode? will come up to about the same price.

the pd35 lowest mode of 14lumens is extremely bright already in the dark...will definitely mess up ur night vision if u wake up and just want to piss tongue.gif

Usually when we sleep we off all the lights. Complete darkness.

The lantern is for activities like night cooking, opening peanuts by the fire, and most importantly: Midnight dipping in jungle pool biggrin.gif And PD35 can run 3 hours at 500lumens or 8 hours at 200 lumens. Enough for few hours of fooling around in the jungle pool.

Another reason why I decided for PD35 instead of proper lantern is because I like it to be multipurpose. When I need a focused light I just take off the diffuser. Already have a headlamp (Nitecore HC30) so this is also a backup light.

My workdays EDC.
The pen is always in my shirt pocket, the knife in my right pant pocket and the torchlight inside my messenger bag.
Thinking of getting an aluminium or titanium tactical pen.
I have a solid brass pen, but the weight and no pocket clip makes it a desktop pen.

Where u guys usually got your edc gear? I usually go

OGM (freaking expensive shiat so can only drool)
gadgetworld2u (lelong)
texantel (lelong)
gearevo (FB)
Thomastools.

Any more local ones that you guys usually frequent/browse through?
*
This bunch of awesome fellas here. So far the place only place I know that sells at reasonable prices, I usually get my gears from them.

https://www.facebook.com/QBM16/?fref=ts

Thomastools is okay, but all their products you preorder are at MSRP. Haven't gotten from OGM before but their price is rclxub.gif Although they do have more varieties though, I have to say the products they bring in are to drool for haha drool.gif

yes, due to the fact that it's a stainless steel tri-arm spinner, and uses r188 sized stainless steel bearing

sadly the bearing was permanently attached with the bearing retention the way I saw it

sanrenmu 7098 is actually a jack of all trades in tight budget, it can go through edc usage, but don't expect it to be even a kershaw cryo. non locking (just a ball bearing-clamp mechanism), off center when closed, non assisted...the good is it uses decent sandvik steel and can be a multitool to reduce public suspicion
