Is Cpop really relevant today

I mean after the end of the 4 fathers era (andy jackie leon aaron) there are no more crop of talent that is equally close 2 the 4 fathers

The closest new gen i last remembered ever is Janice Vidal

First, Cpop is more than just Cantopop. No one cares about stone age stuff. Let it go. Nor anyone is stopping you to listen to the old stuff. It is free choice. Don't go full retard.

Second, the Chinese music market is vast. There are many new songs being released daily inside PRC and on Chinese sites, which never see the light outside of PRC.

Third, the way or habit of people listen and buy music have changed. E.g., Douyin songs.

Feel free to view the playlists in the first post. I no longer post them here or rarely post them here. I stick to Chinese idol girl group stuff now, mainly. I've been encouraging ppl to post all types of Cpop, including Hakkapop and Hokkienpop since day 1. There are some good Mandopop, Cantopop, Hokkienpop indie stuff too. You just not aware of it due to you being stuck in the 80s or "4 heavenly kings", which reminds me of those white supremacists or KKK reminiscing "the good old days" in the 60s or something.
