My concern is mainly on the custom rom availability.
The gap between SD Reno3 and MTK Reno3 is not that far, for sure people only develop the SD variant. MTK gudbye |

Just got my mtk reno3, feel very down reading that the SD variant is confirmed already.
Even the price is more than 1k, but SD >> MTK in terms of everything. Haihhhh.. Anyone want? Still not open yet. I have 2 units |

QUOTE(jolokia @ Feb 2 2016, 10:55 PM) This nothing to do with Sirim Sticker. any source we can read further? This is Sirim test unit, mean Xiaomi is bringing in Note 3 officially soon. But sometime Xiaomi may decide not to sell it, like Mi Router, tested but never sell in Malaysia. Anyway is a good news for those who bought AP set, as there will be a Global stable ROM. |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Feb 3 2016, 07:05 PM) No source. It's a common practise from Xiaomi. Whenever they decided to release a new phone outside of China, their international team definitely will release a global rom for it as well. It's just a matter of time. that is because the same spec is being shipped out for outside market.but for this case the SOC is different, China is MTK, Int is SD. ROM meant for SD can flash to MTK device meh? IDTS |
