So if u want to buy from directd make sure u learn how to flash your phone, can just Google it,  personally I flash my note 3, helped my bro to flash note 2, all without much issue, just need to do some readings and it may seem scary at times but trust me is not. Good luck

Bro follow the flashing guide found in this thread, is for China stable rom 7.1.6, after u installed this rom, updater will show u can update to 7.1.8, I didn't choose to upgrade cos I think 7.1.6 is very stable, going to hang on to all updates for now

I used the computer way. All my gapps installed perfectly,  and sometimes I wonder why people so dislike China official rom,  to me I think Chinese rom is even better cos china rom got so many official apps is really nice to use, and if u prefer Google Apps u can always download it. China rom can get the best of both, so really I don't know why everyone waiting for global rom, maybe global rom can offer more feedback and bug report due to more users internationally so is more stable? I am not very phone savvy so for me who uses all the common apps should face no issue, since most of my apps are so popular type like gapps, they should have enough users reporting for bug fixes anyway.

It is not strange when manufacturer choose a different soc for different market. Basically Mi China has a RN3 with Helio X10 and thus renamed the one using SD650 to RN3 Pro.

Here, they will only release the one with SD650 thus eliminate the need to rename it with a Pro. Pretty much like Redmi 2 which has a normal version and enhanced version.

But still, its basically the same phone with different soc. Screen, camera, speaker would be mediocre at best. Performance would be good but that depends on the thermal management. A72 are designed to fix A57 problematic overheating problem. I think really need to see how RN3 handle the heat from the high performance dual core in the long term.
