i didn't get redmi note 2 because of the battery drain. So I waited for note 3 as it has much bigger battery capacity. But from posts here seems like even with such big capacity the redmi note 3 cannot even sustain 1 full day without charging. That is really disappointing. Maybe this is due to the Helio chipset issue?

QUOTE(wktang @ Dec 29 2015, 12:52 PM) hmm.. both of my rn2&3 can survive a full day usage. really depends how we use it for, if heavy gaming any phone also kong before evening hmm..i am talking about normal use. Very little playing games. But WiFi and 3G turned on all the time. If a phone cannot even survive that then it's a fail for me.

QUOTE(j03y_r055 @ Dec 30 2015, 08:31 AM) Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 spotted with Snapdragon 808 @ http://www.gizchina.com/2015/12/28/xiaomi-...snapdragon-808/"Best of all is that TENAA lists the phone with support for WCDMA and FDD LTE network support meaning that the Snapdragon 808 version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 could be sold through resellers to international customers." no wonder now could get a 32gb helio x10 @ 825 after discount thanks for the info. I will wait for sd808. This is much better on battery life.

just wondering..for those using 2gb/16gb, is there memory enough for normal usage? MIUI is quite resource heavy. Normal usage means including facebook full apps and facebook messenger and whatsapp. Will it cause lag to the phone?

QUOTE(hirota @ Jan 5 2016, 09:55 AM) RM840 from taobao RM819 from lazada with 2 years AP warranty what do u think? i agree man. Buying things with warranty from taobao is kinda anti-smart. You think you are smart by saving lots of money like 50 bucks from taobao. But you need to wait like 2-4 weeks for the thing to arrive. And when warranty it will waste you more money than you saved. Worst is when it is DOA. No offense bro..but really. I still don't understand why people still do this despite all these facts. Just because you are lucky few times when things you buy are faultless doesn't means it will be like that forever.

if the 3gb/32gb version is above RM1k then it's not worth it already. I estimated if official mi malaysia is going to sell it, they will price it at rm749 for 2gb and rm999 for 3gb.

QUOTE(JungWoo @ Jan 17 2016, 10:37 PM) Anyone else planning to get rn3 pro? maybe we can buy in bulk as well to get cheaper i am planning to get RN3 pro as well. But for phone, better don't import yourself as the warranty will be messy. Not worth the trouble to save 50 bucks and also the warranty claim waiting time. Risk of getting tax as well.

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Feb 15 2016, 04:26 PM) according to some source from Indonesia. it could be Mediatek instead of Snapdragon SoC. yup..looks like it will be the MTK redmi note 3 we are getting. Cause based on past history, Malaysia is a place for xiaomi to dump their "leftover" models. Most malaysians are non tech savvy so they just buy new model from xiaomi not knowing there are already a replacement model. Look at all the past models they sell here. mi4i (not selling well model as spec worst than 4c) mi3 (selling here when already launch mi4 in china and selling hot there) redmi2 (1gb model launch here when 2gb already being sold) redmi note 2 (note 3 already sold in china) redmi note 3 (note 3 pro already selling in china/india)

maybe like redmi 2 where they launch the lower spec version first then launch higher spec version.
Once 2gb version is sold enough then they will launch the 3gb version. I think 2gb version is okay for low usage users.

QUOTE(loneboy62 @ Mar 7 2016, 10:08 AM) Gonna wait April for this phone, hopefully it has 32GB and price is not expensive they will launch with 2gb/16gb model first for sure. The 3gb/32gb version might launch 1-2 months later. That is assuming they follow the launch trend of redmi 2 and redmi note 2.
