IMO, the most welcomed feature in here is the battery. 4000mAh.

The Redmi Note 3 part is ended. Now they are introducing Mi Pad 2 and Mi Air Purifier 2.

Of course la. They just released Redmi Note 2 in here not long ago. Do you think they will bring in Redmi Note 3 before end of this year? Impossible. Buying AP set is your only option if you want to get it fast.

For people who are waiting for Redmi Note3, I am afraid that you can only buy AP set. According to Taiwan Xiaomi, Redmi Note 3 will not be brought into the oversea market.

Hmmm...I believe you quoted the wrong post.

There are people who won't care about the version of the chip. For example, old generations.

No source. It's a common practise from Xiaomi. Whenever they decided to release a new phone outside of China, their international team definitely will release a global rom for it as well. It's just a matter of time.

Until now, it's still not yet revealed that which SOC version they are gonna release in Malaysia. But that's not an issue. If they release Redmi note 3 MTK in here, then global rom for MTK will be released. If they release Redmi Note 3 Pro in here, then global rom for SD will be released.

The same goes to all the other Xiaomi phones. First they were released in China, the rom is China rom. Once they decided to release the phones into international market, the global rom will be released. That's the universal rule in Xiaomi world.

So ya. If you are Redmi note 3 user, of course you better hope that they will release the same MTK version in here, so that you can flash the global rom soon. If Xiaomi is releasing Redmi note 3 Pro instead, then I guess the Redmi note 3 users in here can say bye bye to Global rom.

Nope. it doesn't support QC 2.0. In fact, any QC chargers will not compatible to RN 3 Pro. It's been confirmed by the users in China. Eventhough SD650 does support up to QC 3.0, Xiaomi do not plan to put this feature into RN3 Pro. Well, afterall, no matter how powerful RN3 Pro is, this is still considered as a budget phone.

Software? Not sure. Some miui users did ask in the china community whether the feature can be added in the future software upgrade. But until now, no answer at all. So I assume it's not possible.

Charger? Confirmed no. Some users already tested with 9V charger. The result was showing that RN Pro 3 is only support up to 5v2A charger.
