Mi is banking on this phone to take market share in India and probably everywhere else. Margins from phones is never Mi's priority but distributing their devices wide and far and then use their services/data gathering on the phone to generate revenue. Sounds familiar? Google.

Plus when they have the scale they will be able to command more new tech at even lower prices. Sound familiar? Apple.

If we can invest in the company it is certainly going to be a growth company.

You will probably find better reviews online but I have to say performance is really awesome, no lag and smoother than baby bottom. My previous phone was also a hexa core phone Samsung Note 3 Neo. Screen didn't disappoint as I was apprehensive about moving away from Amoled. It is very bright.

MIUI needs some getting use to since I have only used Touch wiz on Samsung since SGS1.

Battery life is great. At 37% practical screen on for 2-3 hours and it still says remaining is 1 day 2 hours. But let's see if it calibrates further as I use it more.

Fingerprint very accurate and fast.

Now if only I can mod a microsim and microsd to fit the slot. Have to file them down in thickness but worried would damage the microsd or having them get stuck in the slot.

Anyways I got it from Adomax at RM1099 for the 32GB. Expensive but I need it now and early adopters usually pay more loh.

Anyone considering getting one won't regret it. Certainly a worthy phone.

I think with a 4000mAh battery and 8 screen on time, QC no longer is a necessity. It was developed for phones with small batt that requires quick top up to get through the day.

How to use both microsd AND 2nd SIM in a hybrid slot. Pls note the risk of it getting stuck in the phone or damage to microsd/SIM but certainly worth it if successful.

Under good light, pics are great. Under low light loose a lot of details and noisy.

Haven't done much video test yet. Will def test 4k and see but need to install Google camera apk first.

Install Google Camera and you will be able to select UHD 4K resolution for video recording for RN3Pro

This has been mentioned several times on this thread. Adomax Technology from Johor. Google the company. I bought from them. Yes it will be higher priced because it is parallel import from China.
