sp flash tool work perfectly fine for me in win8.1 and win10, as long as you had the correct driver installed. old driver are not compatible. if it say supported win7.. only, then don't use it on win 8. if it say support for win8 only, didnt mention win10, then dont use it on win10. find the appropriate 1. and manually install the driver are better than those installer. becoz when there is error, those lausy installer won't tell you install failed.
and on top of this, you must use the compatible version of sp flash tool according to your device.

most likely you forgot to tick these in settings.

but processor, old rn3 50k antutu score, vs new rn3 77k antutu score. the score tell everything edi about the hardware performance.
