I don't have any problems with the gps whatsoever except for can't get signal from inside a building. On the road inside a car, no problem.

Yup gone. China apps will still be there though but you can uninstall them easily enough.

What's your rom version. If you are already on stable, go to security app, set your whatsapp to autostart. Then go to notification setting and tick everything.
If you are on custom rom, maybe that is the problem.

7.1.6.0 was ok, no known bugs except maybe still the child mode, which I didn't try. I'm now on 7.1.7.0. Battery wise though, 7.0.22 is the best.

Maybe we can just use the updater app to go back to 7.022? Copy the zip file to our phone then use updater app to find the file..
But I need to confirm first, do we have the option to disable the navigation button at 7.0.22? It's a really useful feature but I only notice it after I updated to 7.1.7.0.

May battery is doing bad la under 7.1.3. SOT only 1h 29m, 46% left.

Edit: BTW word of advice, stay on the 7.0.22, resist the temptation to update your phone to the latest official rom. 7.0.22 has the awesomest battery life! To get to 7.0.22, I think you have to download that version of rom and flash it directly to your phone. If you flash other version, the OTA update won't have the option for you to go to 7.0.22...if I'm not mistaken.

I'm on 7.1.8. Only been a few hours so I don't notice any difference yet. Hope to God this fix the battery consumption.

Just flash original rom, it will wipe your phone clean including Apus.

Is 7.0.22.2 your exact version? Never heard it before. Can u post screen cap of your phone info? Ori rom (one of them) should be 7.0.22.

Don't worry, your phone is still ori I think, but the rom isn't. Almost everyone bought this phone here got stupid custom rom. Most common one is 7.1.1.1. I heard a few other custom roms but never heard yours. Not a problem though, just flash to any available official rom, I recommend once you get to 7.0.22, stick with it, don't update more. The latest available official rom now is 7.1.8.

Guys, step 10-11 is actually pretty simple it's just that the language used in that guide is hard to understand. Lemme try to make it simple for you.

Just switch off your phone. No matter what step ur at, just switch off your phone. Easier this way. But before switching off, don't ever forget to enable USB debugging. This is important. Forget this and you'll brick your phone.

Then when you get to step 11, make sure your cable is already connected to the pc but do not connect your phone to the cable yet. Hit download button 1st, then just calmly but quickly pick up your phone, pressed & hold volume down only (no need to press power button cz your phone is already off). Then connect your phone to the cable quickly.

Now look at the progress bar, once it turns yellow u can let go of the volume button (though I never let go of it until the process is finished, just to make sure lol). Ur done when you see the big green tick. Your phone will then take sometime to load so don't panic if it's taking a bit too long in doing so.

How I read a few post up when phone is connected to cable after hitting download, nothing happens. Well this happened to me a few times. It's because the MTK Vcom driver is not installed correctly. Install it again, then repeat flashing until ur successful. If still no progress, try installing the driver from here

Hard brick, cannot fix. If soft brick, can be fixed. Don't know how though.

7.0.22 is the best for me but any official rom is much much better than a dodgy vendor rom full of bloat and malware.
