Update from my fingerprint issue..
Apparently its the rom provided with the phone is the cause.

I managed to find time to flash from 7.1.11 to 7.0.19 just now and the fingerprint scanner functioning for the first time.

Where did you get your Redmi note 3 from? I'm from JB too

Guys.. do we have summarized which telco can be used in Msia using RN3?

Maxis-4G
Celcom-4G
Digi-4G
Umobile-4G

Anyone already using Umobile or Digi on RN3, please share your experience.

Update: all Msia telco 4G supported by RN3

I try to search telco manually using RN3, only found Maxis, Celcom, Digi.
The reason I asked because Im using this phone for travelling, and normally using local sim card for data plan. If RN3 not compatible with some band, for example 850Mhz, I can avoid to use that telco.

im using Digi but not 4G sim, I haven't upgrade my sim card, so far so good, H+, voice call and sms all working fine.

for Umobile u can refer to CyrusWong
and I still remember he posted a screenshot showing Umobile LTE working fine too.

Thanks for the info.. i'm guessing no prob for networks in Msia.. so LTE 2600Mhz is fully supported.

Guys, I've just flashed my phone to the 7.0.16 from 7.1.1.1. Everything went well, I got the big green tick at the end. But my phone is refusing to switch on, it currently stuck and the android loading screen. it's been like this for 2 minutes now and i'm freaking out! Please tell me this is normal.
