i agree....and madrid are playing effective football. i am not sure if chelsea vs madrid is a classic to be. both seem to be safety first. could be 0-0 draw till penalty shootout...

well Lyon have already won the French Ligue 1 imo la...(not mathematically)
so they can rotate more and still win....but imo...should they face chelsea, they are finished. literally finished. i can picture it in my head already. so i dont think Lyon will win it.

Lyon, like AC Milan are kinda dependant on their Brazillian(s) to perform. As for Liverpool? I am bias la but I frankly dont see Barca losing. Yes they arent playing well now but once Eto'o and Messi comes back, i really see them back to their best.

I wouldnt be suprised if we have an All Spanish Final. For me, Valencia, Barca, Madrid (with their fresh faces) and Chelsea are in pole position.

anyway as for liv vs barca....hyypia and carra could be in supreme form but they dont face players like messi, eto'o (if fit) and ronaldinho everyday in the EPL imo and the pace and trickery brought by this three is actually scary. especially when we havent thought how rafa will play gerrard when sissoko comes back.

ppl doubt barca everyday simply because they are skillful and talented and that they cant play a physical game but we played physical against breman didnt we? anyway we'll see come next year.

well there are so many factors why Barcelona lost the match against International but anyway let's not talk about that. I still feel it was one of those games where a BIG team would just have to lose one of these days, rather sooner or later. Ronnie wanted to showboat that match but against Liverpool, team comes first but in a two legged tie, i dont see how liverpool can pull of the "one offs" anymore. Against Chelsea of the past for example, Chelsea maybe couldnt pull of some individual brilliance but now, every once in a while, Drogba comes up with Goal of the Season candidate (he has five stunners if i could keep track). But face them now, I believe Chelsea will win. Similiarly against Barce, we aren't in top form now but we still can grind out the results against teams. Teams seem to think, man-mark Ronaldinho and pray that Deco, Guily and Xavi wont win the match but by then, I think Eto'o would most certainly be back and Messi has a good chance to play then, so I am quite optimistic about our chances. I dont think one team could entirely man mark the entire opposition! As good as guddy is, i still feel Eto'o brings something extra as he uses pace to create space.

and duke red, u are in form now but come Feburary? We arent in form now either so its a long way away.

well its been a long time since english clubs have dominated the CL, this is as good a chance for 3 english teams

if we cant at least get a draw at milan, we dont deeserve to be in the final.

i mean, if we had to win 2-0 at the san siro, yes, we might as well have aimed for the double but with a 3-2 scoreline, a draw? if we cant get that, dont be in the finals..

dude, injuries happen la ok...deal with them. i mean, we were without 3 out of our 4 main defenders and we didnt have one of our strikers. we dont moan or cry. we took the game to milan. milan without gattuso? boo hoo..its not our fault is it

wonder why didnt zenden come off and bellamy switch to the wings? and gerrard on the right again?

but did mourinho get into benitez' head. i thought away from home, benitez would have settled with a 0-0 instead of going forwards..

care to explain more on that. i mean even with injuries, they have good back ups. of course whether the back ups perform is another matter but on paper, i would think that chelsea are good enough to contest for it

I dont think Ferdinand and Puyol have yet to be world class just yet. They havent "peaked" yet. Nearly the right age though
