This picture was taken frm ecosky last sunday. How fast they dumped earth on this reclaim land. Didnt know what project is this until i read this forum.

im sure other developer is eyeing on the factory land beside ecosky next to jalan kuching to build more condo with retail on ground. Then they link it to tesco extra. Ecosky in the middle! that will be awesome!

Im also wondering if the lake surface become smaller how much excess water can contain? or will they dig the bottom making it deeper?

I went to the sales gallery on the evening of launching day. As we entered the door we quickly ‘summoned’ (more like jumped on us) by the agents wearing white asking ‘ have you visit our fb page’ , ‘have you liked our page ?’ To which i replied, ‘so we cant go in if we didn't?’ Oh no no bla bla... such a pushy and strange marketing, they think viral can sell a RM700 per sqft condo? That quickly put us off.

Anyway after that the SA wearing black explained everything about the project. She kept explaining TOD that makes me thinking this feature is their selling point. Coz other than this I dont find this condo special or interesting. Yeah it has lake and promenade but the condo facility is not extravagant, just small pool on the podium floor, the whole facility deck is small in relation to the size of the project, no rooftop pavilion or infinity pool at the top.. layout is an oudated 80s style. Probably suits to china market.

Lakeville facilities is way exciting and huge and sleak modern design. Ecosky even better.

We went just to get inflatable fun park ticket, so we got lol

Yeah jalan kepong exit is no exception for traffic congestion, at 730-10pm you have to wait longer to get to it from the kampung/tnb substation road next to this.

Also i think the developer need to do flyover road from jalan kuching to the site similar to what kiara east has frm jln kuching.

Regarding TOD i dont think using buggy to transport people is efficient for the concept of Transit Oriented Development to neareat MRT. If they make a tram route looping the lake or Buses ( like sunway BRT) , may be it will work

This launch is only has a link bridge to KTM while the mall is linked to MRT 2. Unfortunately, this launch is furthest from the mall which is not walkable. So, not the best "TOD" development around.

Well, you need to take 2 lifts( plus stairs for some)from the carpark to get to your unit at Lakeville. Not sure bout Ecosky, but at least that's completed and ready to move in, and freehold for roughly the same price.

I agree.

Ecosky is pretty straightforward, you get your access card and rfid car sticker to get to your designated parking floor, then by access card straight to your floor, no need to change lift.

Actually i had high expectation for this lakecity condo but the building itself is such a letdown. For its selling price i think prospectus buyer can choose others.

The JL99 project next to selayang roundabout is good value for the price, not low density project but affordable. Many units sold out last time I checked.
