Bear in mind that Lakeville's architect is Architect 61, a Singaporean outfit. Also, the builder is from China. Don't think it's a small player can handle such a big job.

property overhang exists between borrowers/buyers and developers. whether to bnm to assist borrowers or developers to reduce overhang depend on economic impact. current consensus is, it is more economical beneficial to allow developers to survive, overstretched borrowers is a collateral damage and will benefit those yet to buy first home. 

heard some banks have own valuation for new launch, no longer take developer price as whole. hence, don't offer margin of finance as developers claimed or planned.
