Hi, I have a primary monitor E2011H and a secondary monitor which I just bought recently AsusVS228NE. Since this is my first LED monitor, I'm not aware if this is considered a problem of LED monitors in general or just my monitor. What I noticed is that the colors are washed out, it's like there is a bright tint over it. especially noticable during dark scene. Here is a photo I took in comparison to my LCD monitor. I've changed through all the modes nd it's still the same.

LCD monitor on left side, LED Asus VS228NE on right side. Took in absolutely dark background

Poor quality display to blame. Just reduce the brightness. My Lenovo laptop and tablet also same problem.

The backlight bleed you're referring to is the right monitor? The left monitor is considered old so I don't mind the backlight bleeding but the right monitor is overall evenly bright at dark scene. Is that a defect?

We're both talking about the display on the right correct? The problem is that the dark scene is so bright i dont feel the contrast.

So you have an LCD LED backlit display, it has uneven brightness but can it display black properly(so it doesn't feels gray)? I tried reducing the brightness but the blacks are still not as good as my old LCD monitor ohmy.gif
