i was reading a magazine pdf file... then felt the pc very slow la...
then i check my memory usage.
acrobat reader alone taking 600MB !!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried change all settings i can think of... but still eat memory like that

ya, I somehow found out that too. You wont notice that if u just skip this page to another page, but when you browse the page one by one, by pressing the "next page" or scrolling the mouse wheel, the memory usage gradually increase. Terrible shocking.gif I really wonder what's their new algorithm make them behave like that? Yea maybe it will help boost up the speed, but its a disaster to those who has limited memory.

And I dont like the way they removed the horizontal page navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, although I still can manually move the page navigation bar to the bottom, but it just wont fitted itself to the screen width.

there's a utility called adobe reader speed up, can try that out now works with v8 too

Yeah...about the 2D GPU thing, anyway can confirm whether it's working on SM2.0 GPU or not?

I read that it requires at least SM3.0 GPU with at least 128MB VRAM. But doesn't seem to be able to get that kind of info from Adobe website.

are you sure 600MB?

or is it only 60MB?
