QUOTE(Doom @ Apr 5 2007, 09:03 PM) I have saw it selling at AllIT today for RM170... seriously it's so light weight that suprised me so much .... looks good for entire mobo cooling but not sure about ventilation ... Check out PCzone or MyPc. MyPc guy quoted me RM150. Hmm.. If I ain't getting it from moderno might as well buy from MyPc. By the way ask for bargain in All IT. The sales guy quoted me RM165.

MyPC. Check your cooler properly though. Mine got a slight dented heatpipe. Heh. Got my artic silver for RM30, plus together with my heatsink with a discount of RM5. Total RM175. I AM informed that AS5 is being sold for RM25 in the forums though. But to sum stuffs up it was worth it for me as I manage to grab a discount. 20+ celcius!? LOL.. 29~30 might be acceptable if your area is cold enough. Your temperature should hit around the range of 35celcius on idle. Depending on processor though. However, for the GeminII, mouting is important. Improper mouting will lead to very bad temperature readings. Self experimented it myself. Do tighten the screws enough so the cooler is not lose or moves around.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 4 2007, 07:29 PM) Good question. Aku pun terfikir fikir gak, kenapa la jadi benda camtu. It's simple actually. I remembered you had tried the Hyper6+ few years back right? Try mounting the Hyper6+ without locking the nuts at the mounting plate properly and see the temperature. Basically, if you don't screw the nuts tight enough (which nobody loves doing cause I actually bent my motherboard a little while using GeminII and Hyper6+ for tightening the nuts too much), the mounting mechanism will leave quite some gap between the processor and the heatsink base. Solution? More TIM for better contact. Tried that myself actually so I know. lol
