it's kinda like WC Radiator yawn.gif
sure 1st of its kind for air cooling to have 2 x 12cm fan blowing in... thumbup.gif that means 1 fan for 3 heat pipes sweat.gif
the fins also soldered to the copper base like xp-120, but this!!! hhmmm xp-240 la tongue.gif

Who would want to place such gigantic cooler in their case ...and spoil the look ....

the look is weird and someone not practical ....

what on earth are they thinking ...... make something like HyperTX would do better ....
*
well some people consider looks & some don't...
for me as long it's perform well, i'll buy it... cause i don't care how it looks as long it cools my rig tongue.gif
for instance ur willing to place the fugly 2 x 120mm fan for ur hr-03 (don't be mad, giving my opinion onli notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif )... i just can't wait for ur customized pci bracket rclxms.gif

sorry man, when it comes to CM, id prefer not to buy anything from them.
its just the brand that really scares me  rclxub.gif
*
well, every brand must got something to start with, maybe this will be CM's first product to raise to the top tongue.gif

So far CM works well in term of mid range cooling solution ...

it won't be the best for most of the product as the price also cheaper than competitors such as TT and TR ...

anyhow they have made big move with their new series of cooler ... although most of them are large in size .... somehow the performance is promising
*
hopefully this one is not too expensive lor... sweat.gif but then again i don't care if its expensive as long it shows promising performance rclxms.gif (this cooler will be in my first waiting list)

how good is this if compared to Scythe Infinity ?
*
dunno lor, but i bet i will be better cause two 120mm fan for 6 heatpipe, that means one fan for 3 heatpipe, unlike infinity and other tower cooler, although they can mount 2 x 120mm fan but front and back (blow same way), but this fujin drool.gif

Believe me, he will bring it in his bulk sales... smile.gif

If the item is good, then why not...

Now i'm worried about my casing...
Will it fit? or it won't? sweat.gif

What's the measurement of the heatsink aahh? sweat.gif
*
what measurement should we be worried about (the height, length) yawn.gif ? here the dimension = 175x124.6x815mm 847g Source icon_rolleyes.gif i'm sure it fits ur tsunami dream... thumbup.gif

the height = 17.5 cm + 25 cm (fan), totaling 20cm, eeehhh same like ultra-120, then it will not fit in ur tsunami dream lor whistling.gif

should we also worried bout the location of the proc? rclxub.gif ...

Damn it, this thing will never fit in my Tsunami Dream!!!
Argh...
Maybe this is the right time for me to change to Gigabyte's 3D Aurora case?

Looking at the displacement of heatsink, i'm kind afraid if it doesn't fit in my motherboard... sweat.gif
*
can't u flip the window upside down, making the case fan sits at the bottom near the pci slots.... sweat.gif
or, u could just sell it to me laugh.gif

But since it is for enthusiast, then the compatibility issue shouldn't be a problem as long as it fits most high-end extreme motherboards.

Bout the blockage problem mentioned by s[H]sIkuA, i don't think that would be a real problem as the heatsink has a rather high clearence.
I'm more worried bout the weight though.
*
weight = little heavy than xp-90c & little lighter than CM Hyper 6 tongue.gif

great, so it depends on mobo design, the casing clearance for top and side and most of all, the bonding strength. high cfm doesn't mean it can efficiently cool of the heat from the processor. considering the large block is there to obstruct the internal circulation

2 things, GC card and rear exhaust fan will be blocked?
*
i think for this cooler, definitely it will block GC, cause no board that places the proc socket way up near the psu, even if there is i think i will still block it...

for the rear exhaust fan, this i dunno sweat.gif ...

as for amd they have to recheck their socket adapter (which way does it face - like in the pic), lucky for 775 user, can mount anyway they want, don't have to worry lor thumbup.gif

Not really, you have to check the placing of you're LGA775 socket, if the socket is in the wrong place, then you're screwed... sweat.gif
*
most motherboard manufacturer placed it on top-left corner, will this have a clearance issue?

surprisingly the coolermaster geminII / fujin? is cheap ...
sapu-ed 2 biji for myself and another fren at RM 145 each in MyPC biggrin.gif
the staff said it arrived yesterday ( 2nd March ) and i've took the last 2 piece tongue.gif

ok result so far is quite good. I was using stock intel hsf and now this monster with 2 x 120 cm led fans.

C2D 6600 @ default speed @ 1.275v
Intel hsf --> idle:45c || load:65c
geminII --> idle:40c || load:52c
*
u use what for the temp readings??? blink.gif TAT or Default Temp Reader that comes with the mobo unsure.gif

i got the same proc with u, E6600, stock speed:
Thermaltake Golder Orb II --> idle:36~37c || load:47~49c (using EasyTune 5 --> Giga 945P-S3 mobo)

the most important thing is u guys need to put lots of as5 on ur processor when using this geminiII..
*
why do we have to put lots of as5? blink.gif mind to explain ur judgement on that smile.gif

... The problem i am worry about is :
1. the performance of the CM GeminII can win TTBT vx or not.
2. the CM GeminII will bend my mobo (gaygaybtye 965p ds3 rev3.3)
3. my CM C5 can fit the HSF or not coz the interior size really limited ( i got do cable management, so not becoz of the cable blocking problem, is the case abit small)
Hope anyone that have experience on this help me ya~ thx alot~
*

  1. can't answer --> i dunno --> have to look former user of TTBT VX or a review for comparison, but if TTBT VX still wins by 1~3 degrees better take GeminII as it can cool off chipset + RAM smile.gif
  2. i don't think GeminII will bend mobos, dunno lor, i'm using it now, no benting (at the moment sweat.gif )
    • GeminII = 175mm of Width
    • Motherboard = 244mm of Width (high-end mobo)

from the measurement itself already shown that the cooler fan be fitted...

but when we take fans into consideration there will be a problem sweat.gif

      fans on GeminII: 120mmx2 = 240mm
fan on the rear case = 25mm (thickness)

      total space taken 240mm + 25mm + 5mm(space between rear case fan & GeminII Fans) = 270mm wub.gif

from the mobo stand off (the nearest to the 5" bay): make sure no chassis component (Case Parts or 5" Device) should be present within 3cm --> Cooler's Space (270mm) minus Mobo's Stand Off (240mm)

i'm 100% sure GeminII can be fitted in CM5 if u do not have a device on the 5" Slot blocking it --> like old DVD-ROM place either on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th 5" bay slot

agre with you, doesn't mean u put 12x120mm ultra high speed fan in your chassis & get a water cooling result temp tongue.gif

interesting review blink.gif blink.gif

i did get the same temp like those in the review, E6600 (IDLE: 30-33 degrees | LOAD: 40-42 degrees)

TIM: AS5
Fans: All Vizo Starlet UV Fan (except for PSU fan)
GC: 6600GT
HDD: 1 unit only
OC Status: Anti-OCer tongue.gif no la waiting fund for new hi-performance RAM rclxm9.gif

before:
1x120mm intake (front panel
3x120mm exhaust (rear panel, psu & side panel --> GC Area)
1x80mm exhaust (top panel)

after:
1x120mm intake (front panel
3x120mm exhaust (rear panel, psu & side panel --> GC Area) 2x120mm exhaust (rear panel & psu)
1x80mm exhaust (top panel)

after 2 days changing to a new LiLi Side Panel (Full Transparent) the temps rise doh.gif (IDLE: 35-37 degrees | LOAD: 45-47 degrees)

WTF vmad.gif weird huh sweat.gif just remove 1 exhaust fan the temps rise doh.gif

any of u experience this? please enligh me cry.gif
