i just got my cooller master gemin II from robyn com imbi for only at RM130!!!!! the result Brisbane 3600++ stock speed - 19 idle 23 max load Brisbane 3600++ 2.9ghz 1.425vcore - 30 idle 38 max load pair it with 2 lianli stock case fans....spining around 1800rpm Tips & tricks for the gemin II-makesure the bracket of the cooller its installed properly balance u can get the diff if u installed it properly. -put a little bit more thermal paste from usual as the base is quite big and its hard to balance. -Adjust the fans corectly.i just adjust it according to the temp reader the lower its the best!! -This cooler its the best cooler among other cooler tat ive used if u adjust the cooller properly This post has been edited by ^666^: Jun 8 2007, 05:11 AM

QUOTE HI, i'm using Gigabyte 965P-DS3 v3.3 mobo, it fits well!! hoho.. just a little bit problem where by u need to a slim hand to plug molex connectors of your PSU (am i call it right tongue.gif) onto your mobo.
And to kerryking, yup it fit well in my casing. I'm using normal ICute ATX middle casing. But now i can't install 2x 80mm fans at the back of my casing. The fan bracket of Gemin II (please note that it's Gemin II , but not Gemini II) dominates whole of the upper space of my casing, and i have to remove my 2 80mm fans, and this makes my core temp maintain at 45 to 48 degree C. sad.gif
This is not Gemin II's fault but mine as when i bought my casing i never thought that i would fix this pretty monster in my casing. tongue.gif Planning to change casing, anyone can suggest me? I want a aluminum silver casing with windowed panel, and my budget is around Rm300-350. Planned to get Ah-lian PC-007F, is it good and can fix this monster?
And to ^666^, the 120mm fans that u installed on Gemin II, are they blow in or out?
Last words to end this: I love Gemin II rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Actually ur prob isnt the case prob.....is mobo prob... ds3 proc location near the backplate...if u change case oso cannot put fan at the back... so my sugestion change mobo...

actually gemin do have issues on the 775 coz they dont include the back plate for the heatsink for 775.....the back plate only can use for am2 and 939...
so the weight of the hsf+2 12cm fan cannot stand by the mobo with no hsf back plate attach cousing to no balanced presure towards the proc....
Resulting a not very good contact bettween proc and heatsink base....
So this coller is great on AMD platform....
My idle on stock 1.9 is 25~
Idle on 1.3v stock vcore 25~
Idle on 1.45 1.425 vcore 32~
So its actually the best coller for amd rite now.....ive tested HR01-Ultra 90-BT VX-G-power
This Is still The Best!!
