I'm struggling to find a Worthy upgrade for the Honor 3C. Today is my 2nd years anniversary using this Phone. Any suggestions?

I almost buy the Huawei P9 lite. But stopped after found out that it don't have Quickcharging and App2SD support.

My H30-U10 so far served me well. Despite 8GB Internal, I still have 2gb Free as I moved the Gaming and many other files to SD card. Of course Using 32GB Class 10 Sandisk Ultra helps...

Pros:
1) Decent battery life. My usage easily Charge once last whole day.
2) Nice display contrast
3) Better than Iphone 5 speaker quality (my other phone)
4) 2 SIM + MicroSD Slot. Only Honor 5X have this useful feature.
5) Removable Battery... (nowadays cannot find liao).

Drawbacks:
1) No quickcharging...
2) Heats up (record 62 deg celsius) while running Waze non stop 1 hr OR 1 hr Gaming (Subway surfers).
3) Slow to Log GPS.
4) Lots of Noise, Hopeless Low light shooting...

My next android phone upgrade requirements:

1) Dual Sim with MicroSD Slot (a bonus but 1 sim and 1 SDCARD also can)
2) NFC + Bluetooth 4.0
3) Decent cameras with Low aperture.
4) Budget below RM1300.

Like I mentioned earlier, Almost buy:
a) Huawei P8 lite
b) Huawei P9 lite

Both No App2SD support.

My ideal phone is Xperia Z5 compact. It ticked all my requirements. But out of budget.

I'm currently using 1st gen MotoG... looking for an upgrade (beefier specs with small size). These 2 phones have similar specs to my MotoG. Sigh.

I see, there's nothing wrong with a real camera tongue.gif It's just not that common in MY these days I guess.

I have a few plans to do next year about vlogging, then I will grab myself a decent Point & Shoot camera like G7x or RX100.

Best wishes to you too. biggrin.gif

3 to 4 year? It's highly unlikely that any of the smartphone is suitable for anything more than 3 years. But of course the Huawei should be at least okay for 3 years.

My Huawei Honor 3C 29th month already. So far so good. Only the battery life shortens (still original battery).

My main phone, Iphone5 White yesterday just celebrated its 4th birthday. In excellent condition...

I need urgent phone recommendations.

General usage
1. Making calls
2. Sending text messages
3. Occasional use of messaging applications (e.g. WhatsApp / LINE / WeChat / Telegram) to view shitty photos and videos that my colleagues or bosses send.
4. To check the time when I misplace or forgot to wear my watch.
5. Surf Lowyat Forums.
6. Pay my bills online.

Brand
Anything except XiaoMi, Apple and Lenovo.

Budget
RM800

Specifications
1. I have been told that Snapdragon processors are better than MediaTek / Exynos / Kirin / etc. - is that true? I would want whatever kind of processor that is the best. Do kindly advise on how to choose processors.
2. Minimum 2GB RAM
3. No preference on camera / screen size / thickness.

What do I need -
1. A phone with LONG battery life. I don't use my phone to do much other than what has been listed above, and I can't be arsed to bring a power bank around.
2. A phone that is NOT prone to crack / shatter / get damaged easily. I don't intend to throw my phone in a nuclear reactor, but I do drop my phone or step on my phone a few times in an average week. I am clumsy, I know, and this is why I need a phone that can reasonably withstand a few drops. In my subjective experience I do find larger phones to be more fragile, though.
3. SHOULD NOT LAG WITH GENERAL EVERYDAY USE

1. Brand: anything but Samsung
2. Budget: MYR1000
3. Specs: good camera for the rear, at least Andriod 7
4. Type/Size: screen must be larger than 5" (16:9)

It used to be simple buying a phone for MYR1000, you just got a Nexus but now with the Nexus lineup discontinued, need recommendations.
