A7 2016 is quite expensive compared to a lot of the mid range phones and even some high end devices.

In your case, Honor 7 enhanced is clearly better than the Samsung A7 2016. It's performance beats the A7 completely. Also this model comes with Android 6.0 out of the box.

The A7 however has a nicer screen and premium build quality. Also it's battery optimization beats a lot of the competition out there with high praises given for its battery life from multiple sources but you're stuck with android 5.1 at the moment, though Samsung has plans to upgrade it.

You can get the Honor 7 enhanced online for about 1.4 ~ 1.5k without discount, whereas the A7 2016 starts around 1.5 ~ 1.8k. I bought my A7 2016 at 1499 after discount.
