u guys used D2 before? do u know the struggle of using it in power mode? putting 7W but fires as if it is 50W.

the main point of switching to TC particularly on D2 is so that we can access the step down by adjusting the power. i guess u guys are missing the main question im asking. who doesn't know tc is for temp protection lulz

Actually I think I read in reddit before also, specifically on D2 using in TC mode with non TC wire as it fires wrong (too high), I don't know as don't have a D2

then be explicitly clear when stating that it's for the d2. saying things like this -

but in general consensus, if a person wanted to use kanthal/nichrome on TC mode it is still possible isn't it? (the whole point of discussion)

i'm pulling out the D2 as an example becoz rjb sensei made the statement of nichrome cannot be used in TC, which in my POV, it's partially right and also wrong. wat im trying to say is, yes, they can be used in TC. but following that, i should also mention u only need to do that when the mod is fking with u in non tc mode

I know what u mean. Nichrome in joules allows you a less-abrupt ramp-up. A vape boss who was evaluating my brews some time ago did that with an ipv 4s on nichrome coils. He set it at 21 joules, told me to take a toke and the throat hit was indeed way less than when on power mode. The power gradient is gentler, so I can understand why you're doing it on a D2 (I don't own that mod). I recreated it on my own unit too, and then went back on power mode..i like the throat hit!

The barrel around the deck looks bigger than a Goblin Mini. I have the Gob Mini and the other UD tanks. You should get a bell cap for your Gob Mini. Makes it easier to dismantle. And if you don't have a screwdriver handy you can just flip it over, unscrew the bottom deck and fill juice into the top. Up to the chimney joint - 70% full.
