thanks. the one tv i wanna buy isnt part of the maybank or CIMB stuff. so... no choice but wait for sale or good voucher. 

Might want to consider a camera with in-body stabilization or OSS in the lens..it will help with shaky hands.
1200 might be a bit difficult unless there's a good sale or you buy second hand.

Yep that should help with shaky hands.  If the lens have big aperture like 2.0 or less you can shoot wide open and with faster shutter speed too.

It's not great but should be good enough for starter camera.

1.2k really hard to recommend any 

then just go get it lo if size and 180 degree tilt screen is a must and must within 1.2k budget...(i rather use my handphone to take photo instead of so girlish camera    )
