Yokohama Parada Spec II 195/50/15 (the latest design or thread) x 4pcs = RM660 (RM165/pc) <--- Tire price list RM600. Now increased a little. The boss showed me, their cost for each tire is RM140. So they earn RM25/pc. Aiya, ok lare.
But this tire is made in Philippines. I think shouldn't be any problem, regardless from which country they are. One of the shop in Bukit Tinggi with big Yokohama signage. Freaking chun service, tyre installation, balancing, alignment, chamber. Double toe and thumbs up, and also my d1ck up! This guy really do my alignment 99.7% chunted. He did 3 times tyre switch to ensure I get the best alignment. This post has been edited by zeist: Sep 20 2008, 05:39 PM |

Yea, but I think RM660 is still ok.
Don't want to spend so much on tires anymore. |

Yokohama 13" where got cheap. Yokohama tires 13", 14", 15" not much difference. Unless you are talking about other cheapo tires around RM105. That one really cheapskate quality tire.

QUOTE(n8210 @ Oct 18 2008, 03:44 PM) If the shop already put on all 4 new tyres, do balancing and alignment, but then discovered one of the rim was dented. Took out, repaired the rim and put back. Are they supposed to do the balancing and alignment again? Or is it ok to just put it back? Redo balancing, alignment and chamber.Anybody knows? |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Oct 18 2008, 05:41 PM) If they are supposed to redo all the balancing and alignment, then I strongly suggest everyone NOT to visit the shop I mentioned. Not just they missed the problem in the first place, but after repairing the rim, they said no need to redo balancing and alignment. You should blacklist that workshop. The tire shop that I go to, for the first time they are very honest and helpful.Your tires now are not aligned properly for sure. |

Yokohama Parada Spec 2 = Best tire ever, cheap and good. Genting pek corner damn smooth and fast. My next tire change, I'm going for this again. Just used for 10,000km, freaking chunted.

It doesn't matter where the tires are made from. Last time I used ST115 made in Japan, expensive and lousier than Parada.
