Michelin XM1, around 160
I am on 2nd set of XM1..185/60/14. So far so good, smooth and less rolling resistance as advertised. But beware this XM1 cannot used to whack corner..

PerSona stock tyre 195/60/15, comfort eh. stock tyre from factory is either GoodYear NCT, Silverstone Kruizer NS500 or Continental Comfort contact, Mine one c/w with Silverstone..

I downgrade to 195/55/15 because performance tyre does not have 60series in size. Now, my overall ride height has been lower by 2cm, ground clearance has been reduced..maybe can achieve higher top speed.

XM1 205/65/15, i think is within rm3xx range..

You can give Bridgestone GR80 a try. Review said it is gripper than MXV8/XM1 despite having the same comfort, low noise.

F1 GSD3 is a nice tyre. MY01 traction rating B, so-so in wet braking..

below rm200, Falken Ziex 912
between rm200-250, Michelin XM1

Which Shop, if you are in Northern region then i can recommend lor...

If your budget allow, go for Bridgestone GR80, but around rm270 per piece...
Michelin MXV8 around that price too..

GoodYear NCT, Continental Comfort Contact, Silverstone Kruizer NS below rm200...
Yokohama..you can try it, the old model Db ES501 is a quiet tyre but perform so-so during wet...

Size? 225/40/18..cheapeast i saw from tyre shop, rm3xx Indo made, but dunno what brand/model.

is Yoko AD08 available already?

don't have MXV8 195/55/15 wor..195/60/15 yes!around rm280 per piece..

205/50/16, no idea..but PP2 is at rm4xx per piece..

38psi? overinflate the tyre to make sidewall harder is wrong.

overinflate too much, that means the contact patch between road is less hence less traction...cannot even sapu Corner, less grip..skid like mad..

Yes, there is 205/55/16 MXV8. I was using it many many years ago, made in Japan, around rm370 also..

Now, i think it is from Thailand for this size..rm370 is quite cheap wor..

No worry, 205/55/16 is a common size.

Why don't give Brigestone GR80 a try?

It is made in SushiLand.

Quiet - Yes
Stable and Grip - very subjective question. For normal cruising, it should serve you well
Wear - ? compare to local, thai or many other made..This MXV8 compound is quiet soft..not really long lasting.

I don't buy a tyre that can last for many miles, it is either super hard compound or provide poor grip. Fast driver like me..doesn't like comfort tyre anymore

Is it the facelift Altis or the old one?

The facelift Altis 1.8, i saw on the road is fit with 205/55/16..while 1.6 is riding on 195/65/15 instead of 195/60/15(if i'm correct)

195/55/16 is for the one before facelift..

that's the SRP, suggested retail price i believe.vZE912 195/55/15 can easily get @ rm180 per piece.

So bad luck today, my rear tyre puncture because of 2BiG Nails !! Only did 6k km on this RE001(3months on board) ..
Went to tyre shop, found out the tyre cannot be repair, the hole is big.....i was left disappointed, finally decided to replaced the 4 almost new RE001 with new set...

My first set of RE001, 31st-Dec-2008 ...6k km clocked. Front still have 90% tread left..rear is about 95%.

too bad, i went to other shop to survey for AD08 first, yet to arrive...or else i must have been running on AD08 now
